A New Chapter: „Chapter 4 Mediahouse“

Chapter 4 moves into Lange Gasse

Chapter 4 has made its move into a new office in Lange Gasse 65/16 in the 8th Vienna district. However, it’s not just the address that is new, but also the appearance of the Chapter 4 Mediahouse. On the one hand, the new office remains home to the Vienna Chapter 4 Office and Headquarters of the Chapter 4 Network, which has grown to become the number one PR & Communications network in Southeast Europe, with eight offices/locations and 60 employees. On the other hand, Lange Gasse 65 is now also home to some of Chapter 4’s long-standing business partners.  By moving in under one roof, the aim is to decisively expand the cross-functional expertise of the agency: from business consultancy over PR and marketing to promotion, event management, innovation consultancy and even an in-house photo studio – all disciplines are now to be found at one address.

The goal of the Chapter 4 Communications agency, which has especially made a name for itself as PR- and crisis specialist in CEE and SEE, is to strengthen its presence in the local Austrian market. “We want to, however, differentiate ourselves from the typical stereotyped thinking that is prevalent in the local PR and advertising industry. Success in the future will depend largely on the ability to develop a central, creative idea and implement it cross-functionally. Even now already we are sometimes seen by clients as digital content specialists, at other times as crisis managers, business consultants, a marketing and promotions agency, and in other cases as classic PR experts. To further optimize our positioning and offer, it is necessary to have a creative core, generalists as account managers and a network of specialists for the implementation of tasks and activities. With the new appearance of Chapter 4 Mediahouse, we are taking an important step in this direction,” says Severin Heinisch, CEO and Co-Founder of Chapter 4, alongside Boris Beker.

However, the focus on Central- and Southeast Europe will remain at the core of the Chapter 4 agency. “From the outset, we’ve had a cross-border way of thinking and working. The usual constraints of the industry have affected our mindset just as little as national and geographical borders. We wish to even further facilitate the exchange between our employees from our different locations in the region,” reveals Boris Beker, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Chapter 4.

A third key aspect is the partnership with Burson-Marsteller, a renowned global agency network. Chapter 4 represents Burson-Marsteller as exclusive Affiliate and Agency Hub in twelve countries in CEE/SEE, and coordinates activities for the region from its Vienna office. “Our expertise in Southeast Europe, in particular, has proven to be immensely valuable within the global network. We are the only Austrian agency that possesses this significant value in one of the globally leading agency networks and we are working towards positioning Vienna as an attractive headquarters location for international corporations looking to do business in East Europe,“ concludes Beker.
